ZYP Boron Nitride Glass Release Spray- 13oz ++ (formerly MR97)
No need to take time for kiln wash. Works in bowls and dishes where fiber paper wont.
Boron nitride spray mold release is a high temperature, anti-stick release agent for glass forming. It also works on most ceramic and metal molds. It is inert and yields 97% boron nitride at 1800F.
NOTE: Because it is a release agent, once you coat a ceramic mold with it, even kiln wash won't stick to it. To use kiln wash again, you would have to clean the boron nitride off the mold with some 220 grit wet sandpaper - but why would you want to do that anyway?
Boron Nitride Hardcoat® is the original truly tough, abrasion-resistant boron nitride coating. BN-Hardcoat® is non-wetting with molten aluminum, magnesium, zinc and other non-ferrous metals and their drosses. Ideal for high-wear uses where all other boron nitride coatings fail. BN Hardcoat should ONLY be applied and dried at room temperature.
NOTE: This paint contains acrylic polymers. Do not use elevated temperatures for the drying process. Dry at room temperature before placing into a furnace environment where any emitted vapors or volatiles will be combusted.
