What is Argentium Sterling Silver?
Argentium Sterling Silver round wire (ASR) is a newly developed
silver that is highly tarnish resistant. There is still 92.5% silver
in Argentium, but rather that add copper, as in regular sterling, germanium
is added. This makes the silver very tarnish resistant so that constant
cleaning is not required. It is fairly new and is greatly desired
by jewelry makers because of its distinctive properties. |
