GLUING ON BAILS
Over the many years I have been making jewelry, I have never been satisfied
on the way various glues have worked with the metal to glass bonding.
However, this is the best that I know of.  Hope it helps.

Step 1 -Use an epoxy glue.   I prefer this industrial epoxy which is metered out accurately from this dispenser
 - also available at A&A Products Ltd
.Epoxy Gluing

Turn the container upside down so the air bubbles rise to the top.  Then
meter out the amount needed.  Use a toothpick to mix the glue thoroughly, and with the same
toothpick apply it over the bail carefully.

The glue sets in two hours and is cured
in twenty-four hours.   You have about 20-25 minutes to work with this epoxly before it becomes
to stiff to work well.   This entire process can be speeded up by using a heat lamp.  I do as many
as 20-30 pieces at a time using a lamp to cure them.

I have never had a bail fall off using this method and it is very difficult to remove them if you need to - but not impossible.
I must say though that I still prefer to fuse bails into the glass.
