Working Notes: During the first firing, paper will turn black and then back to white. You may see smoke and/or smell as well. Many uses include, fusing glass, adding texture, kiln carving, creating open channels in glass, glass formation or allowing air flow. May can cut with scissors or even craft punches to leave impressions in glass. Use caution and wear a NIOSH Approved Mask when handling all fiber products. In addition, wear surigical gloves when handling if you have sensitive skin.
This is heavier than your "Thin Fire" fiber paper... Fiber paper may used over again on repeat firings until it has detiorated but is much more fragile after each firing. Moderate re-use with hardner can extend the life of this product.
